Dr. Valentine attended the Yale University School of Medicine, an internationally recognized hub of excellence in psychiatry, for his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. He went to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, a leader in biological psychiatry, for his psychiatry residency. He received his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton, where he was trained to value human connection and practice an integrative approach to healing.

Dr. Valentine is double board-certified in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He helps people to reconnect with who they are – beyond expectations, roles, and past experiences – so they can live in alignment with their true selves. He is passionate about guiding people to rediscover their identity, cultivate self-compassion, and live with authenticity. Blending professional expertise with lived experience, he supports each person in becoming the most empowered version of themselves.
